Class A - Carbonaceous Materials. eg Wood, Paper & Furnishings.
Class B - Flammable Liquids. eg Petrol , paints & Alcohols.
Class C - Flammable Gases. eg Propane, Butane & LNG.
Class D - Flammable Metals. eg Lithium, Aluminium, Titanium.
Electrical - eg Fues Boards, Computers & Plug-in heaters.
Class F - Flammable Oils. eg Cooking oil/fat.

Foam - Class A & B.
Powder - Class A, B & C.
Co2 - Class B & Electrical.
Wet Chemical - Class A & F.
Water - Class A.

How do i identify the different extinguishers?

Foam - Cream Band.
Powder - Blue Band.
Co2 - Black Band.
Wet Chemical - Yellow Band.
Water - Red Band.
All extinguishers should be coloured red with an appropriate band to identify the contents.

What are the minimum requirements for me?

There is no easy answer to this, a site survey is the best answer as there may be a risk you have not spotted.
That being said, going by the relevant British Standard, you would require two "A class" type extinguishers and one to cover your "Electrical" risk.
